Unseenlabs to Become the First French Private Cubesatellite Operator

Unseenlabs is on course to become France's first private cubesatellite operator with the launch of its pioneering maritime surveillance service from space: BRO-1 Mission.

Today, Unseenlabs announced it has chosen Rocket Lab to deploy the initial CubeSat of its maritime surveillance constellation. The launch is scheduled to occur at Rocket Lab's Launch Complex on the Māhia Peninsula in New Zealand during the summer of 2019. Customers will begin receiving initial mission data as early as Q3 2019, marking a significant milestone in the availability of a new commercial maritime surveillance service.

The BRO-1 mission patch, representing Unseenlabs' first satellite dedicated to radio frequency (RF) detection for maritime surveillance. The patch features a bold, blue circular design with an intense, piercing gaze motif, symbolizing the satellite’s ability to detect and monitor invisible maritime activities. The design includes technical elements and orbital references, emphasizing precision, intelligence, and innovation in space-based surveillance. This emblem marks the beginning of Unseenlabs' satellite constellation, reinforcing its role in global maritime security and intelligence gathering.
