Unseenlabs has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Space BD in Japan, marking a new step in the company’s international development and in its presence in the Japanese market. The agreement was signed on April 1, 2026, in the presence of French government representatives, as part of the official French economic delegation visiting Japan.
The signing ceremony took place following the France-Japanese Economic Forum, held during French President Emmanuel Macron’s official visit to Japan. It was attended by Philippe Baptiste, French Minister of Higher Education, Research and Space, underlining the importance of the agreement within the broader framework of French-Japanese economic and space cooperation.
This MoU builds on an existing relationship between Unseenlabs and Space BD. Space BD has already supported Unseenlabs through satellite launch activities, and this new agreement formalizes a strategic framework to support the company’s development in Japan.
By deepening this collaboration, Unseenlabs and Space BD aim to contribute to stronger ties between the French and Japanese space ecosystems. For Unseenlabs, the agreement reflects a clear ambition to expand its international footprint while working with trusted partners to support future growth in Japan.
